There is always that individual you meet and know on the surface for awhile, until one day you become super great friends. Turns out they are an artist, you are skeptical but you check out their work despite how timid they appear. Turns out they are not only talented technically but also have an aesthetic depth and aren't afraid of experimentation.

You could say that is what my friend Roman Luna has done with MARKETS. His album Grocery Lisp is unlike any of his previous projects. Luna dives into aspects of hip hop while incorporating hints of punk and drone as well. Grocery Lisp is the first of Luna's solo endeavors as MARKETS, I hope he continues.
